Eralonek Press
Editorial Standards

METHODOLOGY

Eralonek Press operates under the following editorial principles: articles are reviewed by at least one second editor before publication, sources are cited where appropriate, corrections are noted publicly, and writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence their selection of subject matter.

01 — Editorial Process
01
Topic Identification

Field Observation

Topics originate from direct observation in parks, urban stairwells, and open public spaces across England. The editorial team notes recurring practical questions that arise from real outdoor training sessions rather than trend-driven coverage. A subject is considered viable when the observation is repeated across multiple locations and conditions.

02
Research Phase

Published Research Review

Writers cross-reference practical observation against published research in exercise science. Sources are drawn from peer-reviewed journals, established sports science bodies, and documented field studies. The quality of available evidence is noted explicitly in each article — claims are graded by the strength of supporting data, and contested areas are presented as contested.

03
Draft and Review

Second-Editor Review

Every draft is reviewed by a second editor before publication. The review checks factual accuracy, source quality, and compliance with the publication's vocabulary standards. Writers are required to disclose any commercial relationships — paid engagements, affiliate arrangements, or brand associations — that are relevant to the subject matter of their article.

04
Post-Publication

Corrections and Updates

Corrections are noted at the top of the article with a brief description of what changed and the date of revision. Reader-submitted corrections are reviewed within five working days. Articles that reference time-sensitive data — such as distance records or study publication years — are reviewed annually and updated where necessary.

02 — Source Standards

Peer-Reviewed Research

The primary source tier. Articles citing peer-reviewed exercise science journals are considered the highest-confidence references. Journals must be indexed and accessible via an established research database. Where a study is small-scale or preliminary, this limitation is stated.

Qualified Practitioners

Interviews and observations from qualified wellness and movement professionals are used as a secondary source tier. Contributors in this category hold documented qualifications in exercise science, sports conditioning, or a directly related field. Their input is attributed and distinguished from peer-reviewed data.

Field Documentation

Direct field observation contributes to topic selection and contextual description. Observational notes are not presented as quantitative evidence — they are labelled as field notes and distinguished from cited research. Location and date of observation are recorded internally.

03 — Independence

Editorial Independence

Eralonek Press is an independent editorial publication focused on everyday wellness practices. The publication is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body. Topic selection is not influenced by commercial partners, advertising clients, or external product briefs.

Where a piece is produced with the involvement of a brand or organisation — for example, access to a facility or participation in a hosted event — this involvement is disclosed in the article. The disclosure appears at the opening of the article, not appended at the footer.

Advertising and sponsored content are held entirely separate from editorial content. Sponsored content is labelled as such and is not published within the editorial archive. No advertiser relationship influences editorial decisions on which topics are covered or how they are presented.

04 — Scope

What This Publication Covers

The publication's scope is limited to bodyweight exercise, no-equipment outdoor training, mobility and flexibility routines, and active daily habits such as running plans, stair workouts, and walking-based movement practices.

Articles published on Eralonek Press are editorial in nature and reflect the writers' observations on everyday wellness practices. The content is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Readers with specific concerns about their daily routines are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional.

We recommend speaking with a qualified wellness or nutrition professional before introducing any new habit or routine to your daily life, particularly if you have specific requirements.

05 — Verification

Fact-Checking Protocol

  • All named statistics are traced to their original source before publication. Secondary citations are not used where a primary source is accessible.
  • Exercise descriptions are reviewed against documented exercise science literature to confirm the accuracy of muscle engagement claims and movement pattern descriptions.
  • Named routes, parks, and outdoor locations are verified for public access status. The publication does not direct readers to restricted or privately owned land without noting its status.
  • Performance claims — such as expected adaptation timelines or caloric estimates — are presented with context and are not used as the sole basis of an article's recommendation.

Contributor Standards

  • All contributors provide a brief professional biography before their first article is published. Biographies are reviewed for accuracy and stored in the publication's contributor register.
  • Contributors disclose any commercial relationships — paid engagements, affiliate arrangements, or brand associations — that are relevant to the subject matter of their contribution.
  • Contributions from guest writers are marked as guest contributions and subject to the same review process as staff articles.
  • Writers may not contribute anonymously. Attribution is required on every published piece, and pseudonyms are not permitted.
